On May 22, markets showed mixed results with the Nifty 50 gaining 0.40% and Sensex rising 0.36%. While Nifty Private Bank and Nifty Metal saw gains, Nifty Media and Nifty Pharma lagged. The Indian rupee strengthened to 95.9 per dollar amid RBI interventions.

The Indian stock market showed little change today, with major indices giving up early gains due to profit booking. The Nifty 50 and Sensex closed down, while broader market indices also followed suit. Oil prices fell amidst geopolitical developments, contributing to cautious market sentiment.

Most traded srocks today: Vodafone Idea, IRB Infrastructure Developers, Jaiprakash Power Ventures (JP Power), Sammaan Capital, and Ola Electric Mobility were among the most traded stocks, or most active stocks in terms of volume, on the NSE on Thursday.

Over the next three years, the first phase of the growth plan, the NBFC plans to venture into new product segments such as personal loans, gold loans and MSME loans.

Most traded stocks today: Vodafone Idea, Tata Silver Exchange Traded Fund, Sammaan Capital, Tata Gold Exchange Traded Fund, and Reliance Power were among the most traded stocks, or most active stocks in terms of volume, on the NSE on Wednesday.

Sammaan Capital share price rose nearly 11% on Wednesday after the RBI nod to IHC for stake acquisition in the NBFC. Avenir Investment RSC, a subsidiary of IHC, will acquire a 66.65% stake in Sammaan Capital.

BlackRock has increased its stake in Sammaan Capital to 7.68% after acquiring 562,942 shares. The shares of Sammaan Capital have remained under severe volatility in recent months, falling from ₹ 188.59 apiece to ₹ 140, losing 26% of their value.

Domestic benchmark indices showed little change after a prior decline, amid rising oil prices due to US-Iran tensions. Nifty 50 rose 0.03% to 25,465 while BSE Sensex fell 0.07% to 82,467.7. Analysts attribute weakness to global uncertainties and geopolitical risks.
