Affiliate onboarding and verification
Proposed application, KYC/KYB, bank, tax, agreement, and approval requirements.
What this guide covers
Proposed application, KYC/KYB, bank, tax, agreement, and approval requirements.
Approval is required
Cash affiliates will be separately empanelled partners. Creating a ShareKeyX account or making referrals will not automatically create affiliate status.
- Application and disclosure of promotion channels.
- Identity KYC for individuals or KYB, signatory, and beneficial-owner checks for businesses.
- PAN and applicable tax profile; GST information where applicable.
- Verified payout bank account with name matching, step-up authentication, and change cooldown.
- Acceptance of the current affiliate agreement and marketing rules.
- Compliance, fraud-risk, and manual approval before activation.
Secure verification flow
When the verification capability is active, an Indian individual affiliate enters PAN name and date of birth for a consent-bound official-record match, completes Aadhaar identity verification on a provider-hosted DigiLocker page, and verifies the payout account through a ₹1 penny-drop and beneficiary-name match.
For non-individual applicants, ShareKeyX also checks GSTIN registration where applicable. Companies and LLPs must match an active MCA record using CIN or LLPIN; other entity types or a declaration of no GST registration enter human review where registry coverage is incomplete.
Provider success alone will not guarantee approval. Mismatches and uncertain results will enter a documented review process rather than being represented as verified.
- PAN, GSTIN, CIN or LLPIN, bank account, IFSC and payout trace references are encrypted at rest and restricted to authorised compliance or finance operations.
- Ordinary screens and APIs expose only masked identifiers and derived verification states.
- ShareKeyX does not store the full Aadhaar number, Aadhaar OTP, biometric data, or raw DigiLocker documents in the affiliate verification store.
- Repeated attempts are limited, successful checks are reused to avoid unnecessary billed calls, and provider failures remain retryable without marking an applicant verified.
